COMAS February Meeting

Februray 9th, 7:30 PM at UCO

Reefkeeping 101 part 1

We will start our educational series titled "Reefkeeping 101".  This month we are starting with some tips and hints to use when planning a new aqaurium setup or changing an existing one.

Topics covered will include:

Glass work - cutting, drilling, siliconing, and crack repair

and

Acrylic work - bending, cutting, and gluing

We will also spend time on the frag donor program.  Everyone is asked to bring frags that they can donate to this meeting.  We will be give priority to people who were COMAS members at the time of the ice storm and who suffered tank losses.  However, if everyone contributes, there is a good chance that if your name is on the want list, you may get to take home a new coral.

The winner of the Photo of the Month for January will be announced and awarded a $25 gift certificate to their choice of COMAS sponsor.  Additionally, a $15 gift certificate will be awarded to another entry drawn at random.  Good luck to all entrants.

If you joined at the January meeting or were otherwise unable to pick up your membership card, we will have them available for pick up at this meeting as well.

We will have our usual door prizes to give away at the end of the meeting.
