COMAS Meeting April 12th 7:30 PM at UCO
Coral Frag Swap and Sale & Coral Pests, Dips, Treatment and Quarantine
This meeting is sure to please anyone who is interested in corals. We will have two areas set up for selling and trading frags. We will have a variety of coral frags that will range from typical 'starter', low light corals to the more demanding, high light and turbulant flow corals. Please plan on attending and bringing any corals you can frag. Our members' interests and tank capabilities are all different. This is one step our club can take to help conserve the world's reefs.
We will also have a demonstration and brief lesson on the importance of coral dips and quarantine. Paul Whitby will review some of the products available on the market and offer his experience in treating some of the nasty pests that are becoming more and more prevelant in the hobby.

COMAS is also taking steps to become a non-profit organization and one of those steps is to establish a governing body and written bylaws. At this meeting we will vote bylaws into effect. The bylaws are posted on the front page of this website as well as in a thread on www.reefcentral.com. Please take the time to read through them and post any questions you have. We have been running the club according to these bylaws for a few years. Now, we are just making them official. Finally, we plan to have a few of our Local Fish Store sponsors at the meeting. Hopefully, they'll bring frags as well. Bring your coolers!
