What is COMAS?

The Central Oklahoma Marine Aquarium Society (COMAS) is an organization composed of marine enthusiasts dedicated to educating and helping fellow reef and marine fish enthusiasts across the state. COMAS was started in 2000 and has grown from its original 6 members to over 200 current members. We have members whose interests cover all the possibilities of marine aquaria. We have specialists in Nano tanks, Large Tanks, Soft Coral and Hard Coral, Fish Only and species only tanks, such as Seahorses. We also have members who have interests in the propagation of corals and the breeding of marine fish, such as Clown fish and Bangaii Cardinals.

Supporting COMAS

COMAS is supported by members paying a small annual membership fee at the beginning of every year.  You don't need to be a member to attend our meetings but there are benefits that members do receive.  The dues go toward door prizes for every meeting, buying new books and equipment for members to use, and just general support for the club.  If you haven't been to a meeting, we encourage you to come join us and get to know everyone and if you want to become a member and help out a great community, great.  All you need to do is contact one of the leadership team and they'll help you get signed up or just hit the membership link on the top of the site.
